Description

Descriptions of the most current clinical trial results and future development plans of two advanced CFTR modulator programs will be presented, along with discussions of anticipated temporal global access to highly effective CFTR modulators and how access to highly effective modulators will the affect future CF clinical trial designs.

Learning Objectives:

  • Review the current status of CFTR development programs.
  • Estimate timing of availability of highly effective CFTR modulators in different regions of the globe.
  • Evaluate how availability of highly effective CFTR modulators will lead to changes in the design of clinical trials of both new CFTR modulators and other chronic CF therapies.
