Description
Social determinants of health (SDOH) are increasingly being recognized by health care systems, institutions, and payers as significant drivers of health outcomes. This symposium sets the foundation for understanding SDOH broadly and how they affect people with CF. It also explores how the financial impact of living with CF may exacerbate SDOH and how food insecurity can be a starting point for clinicians in helping to address SDOH.
