Description
What would your patients with CF and their families say about their care partnership with you/your team? How are the perspective of your partners factored into your approach to care partnerships? How do you and your patients with CF and their families share what approach / style works best for each of you? Discovering the answers to these and other questions is vital to the development and enhancement of a trust- based relationship where information and decisions are shared in the management of cystic fibrosis. In this workshop you will learn new ideas and strategies to test and implement as you optimize the conditions in your CF center that will transform this vital partnership with your patients and their families.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe the impact of team collaboration, inclusion of patient/family perspective, and trust on the quality of patient/family and care team relationships.
- Describe strategies to increase understanding about what is important to patients and families and their perception of burden of care.
- Apply innovative ideas and strategies to transform CF care partnerships.
