Description
People with CF spend a large portion of their day managing their disease. This session will explore the interplay between perceived burden of care and mood and outline ways in which the PT & RT can alleviate treatment burden by initiating programs that will improve quality of life: decreasing depression and anxiety as well as reduce time spent performing daily treatments.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify ways in which the PT & RT can decrease treatment burden for people with CF.
- Demonstrate how technology can be used to improve adherence.
- Discuss how exercise can be used to decrease depression and improve mood in people living with CF.
