Description
Pulmonary exacerbations are common events in patients with CF but there is no standard approach to treatment. We will review what we have learned from registry data, clinical studies & an observational study of exacerbations & how this will be used in the design of interventional studies of the treatment of exacerbations.
Educational Objectives:
- Review the epidemiology of CF pulmonary exacerbations and their management.
- Discuss the topline results from an observational study of pulmonary exacerbations.
