W13: GMS: Genetics, Genomics & Big Data Sets

Oct 9, 2015 2:00pm ‐ Oct 9, 2015 3:45pm

Standard: $49.99

Description

During this session, we will explore the role of DNA & mRNA variation in CFTR mutations as well as the role of non-CFTR genetic modifiers in the phenotypic expression of disease.

Educational Objectives:

  1. Describe the contributions of CFTR variation in phenotypic manifestations of disease.
  2. Analyze how differential expression of CFTR mutations affects the potential for therapeutic targets.
  3. Discuss the potential role of non-CFTR genetic modifiers in the phenotypic expression of disease.
