Oct 28, 2016 10:30am ‐ Oct 28, 2016 11:55am

Standard: $49.99

Description

Cystic Fibrosis is a progressive life long illness that is both time and resource intensive, often interfering in what is considered normal daily living. In 2015, Mental Health Screening (MHS) was identified by Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the European Cystic Fibrosis as an area of need. This session will highlight some successes and challenges that centers have encountered with implementation of the MHS. In the end, successful implementation of the MHS occurs with coordination of care among the CF team, highlighting that it truly takes a village to successfully identify and treat the mental health of the CF patient.
