The assessment of physical activity and fitness level is a central component in developing an overall care plan and providing appropriate guidance to CF patients regarding exercise and physical activity. Recent 'best practice' publications by international groups have outlined the assessment of exercise capacity, physical activity, and activity guidance for patients. These 'best practices' will be reviewed in this symposium.
