Dr. David N. Assis is an adult hepatologist and gastroenterologist at Yale University School of Medicine, where he completed fellowship training in hepatology with a particular focus on cholestatic and autoimmune liver diseases. He also is a DIGEST awardee who received training from the Yale Adult CF Center and the CFF to develop expertise in the treatment of patients with GI and liver complications of CF. He performs translational research in autoimmune and cholestatic liver diseases, including CF.
