Dr. Paul Beringer is an Associate Professor of the Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Economics & Policy at the School of Pharmacy, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. He is a member of the multidisciplinary care team for the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at USC University Hospital. He serves as a consultant to the team in determining appropriate pharmacotherapy for the management of inpatient as well as outpatient care of the adult CF patients. He also conducts clinical research involving PK/PD optimization of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory therapies in patients with CF. He teaches pharmacy students and residents and is the co-director for the Anti-infective Pharmacology Fellowship Program at USC. Dr. Beringer received his PharmD degree from the USC School of Pharmacy and completed his postdoctoral Pharmacy Practice Residency and Pharmacokinetics Specialty training at the University of California, San Francisco. He has authored numerous articles on original research, review articles, and book chapters in the area of Cystic Fibrosis. His current research focuses on the optimizing antibiotic and anti-inflammatory therapies for treatment of CF lung disease. He is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and has been awarded Fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
