Clinical Research Coordinator

Alexandra W. M. Wilson, MS, RDN, CDE is a clinical research coordinator, registered dietitian (RD/Nutritionist) and certified diabetes educator with the Adult Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Clinical Research Services team at National Jewish Health in Denver, Colorado. She was involved in the development and accreditation of the National Jewish Health Diabetes Self-Management Education Program which specializes in those with pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes. She worked with the Adult CF Clinic of Colorado for eight years. She transitioned to working with Medtronic Diabetes as a clinical specialist training and supporting patients using integrated insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor systems. Missing working in CF, both academically and clinically, she made transitioned back to CF clinical research where she works as a clinical research coordinator. She has presented on nutrition and CF-related diabetes to CF healthcare providers as well as to students and other allied health providers.
