Margaret Rosenfeld M.D., M.P.H.


Margaret Rosenfeld, MD, MPH Margaret Rosenfeld is Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Her research program focuses on the assessment and treatment of chronic lung diseases in children, including the development of appropriate outcome measures, multicenter clinical trials in young children with cystic fibrosis, a large-scale investigation of risk factors for early acquisition of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in children with CF and a multicenter observational study of primary ciliary dyskinesia. She also conducts research on smart phone applications for chronic respiratory disease self-management, including a smart phone spirometer. She is Associate Director of the Seattle Children's Hospital Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR), Director of the CCTR Clinical Research Scholars' Program (a career development program in clinical research for junior faculty) and co-Director of the Seattle Children's Hospital Fellows' College. She is immediate past Chair of the American Board of Pediatrics Pulmonary Sub-Board.
