Danielle Goetz, MD is a graduate of the Jacobs School of Medicine at the University of Buffalo. She completed Pediatrics Residency, Chief Residency and Fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She worked at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland for 3 years as a Pediatric Pulmonologist before returning to her home town of Buffalo, NY and joining UBMD Pediatrics/Oishei Children's Hospital of Buffalo. She is the Cystic Fibrosis Center Director at the CF Center of Western NY and Buffalo's Co-Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Therapeutic Development Network site. She is a member of the TDN Steering Committee and the Protocol Review Committee. Dr. Goetz is the Physician Leader of the Buffalo Site for the CFF's Pilot Learning Network for Quality Improvement. The CF Center of WNY recently received the Quality Award from the CFF in 2018, and received training with the CFF's Partnership Enhancement Program in 2018-2019. Dr. Goetz is interested in research regarding Mental Health screening and outcomes in CF, as well as pediatric lung function, partnership with patients and quality improvement in CF.
