Victoria L. Holden Ph.D.

Dr. Victoria Holden received her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Michigan in 2016. Her research examined the effects of iron acquisition by siderophores on the immune response during lung infection with Klebsiella pneumoniae. As a graduate student, Victoria authored/co-authored 6 journal papers, presented at both national and international meetings, and was elected president of the Organization of Microbiology and Immunology Students. Currently a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Bruce StantonĂ¢â‚¬™s research group at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, Victoria is interested in the immune response to Pseudomonas aeruginosa lung infection, particularly in persons with Cystic Fibrosis.
