Sarah Baker is an exercise physiologist in the Human Integrative Physiology Laboratory in the Department of Anesthesiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She was awarded her Ph.D. in Physiological Sciences at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ in 2013. Her research focuses on cardiopulmonary function in humans and the beneficial effects of exercise and other lifestyle interventions. Her main research and clinical interest is in exercise physiology and she has performed integrative physiology studies in many populations, including cystic fibrosis.
