Suzanne Shoff received her PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1994. Her post-doctoral research focused on nutritional epidemiology of chronic diseases in adults. In 2002 she began her work in cystic fibrosis (CF) when she joined the research team headed by Dr. HuiChuan Lai at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her work focuses on identifying dietary and treatment-related factors associated with optimal growth and pulmonary status in children with CF. Dr. Shoff manages two ongoing, longitudinal studies which are investigating nutrition and pulmonary outcomes in children with CF.
