Vikesh Singh is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is also the Director of the Pancreatitis Center and the Medical Director of the Islet Autotransplantation Program. He is the Medical Director of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Pancreas Foundation. His research focuses on the evaluation and management of acute and chronic pancreatitis as well as related complications of these disorders including abdominal pain and exocrine insufficiency. He has research support from the NIH/NIDDK, Department of Defense, and CF Foundation. He has nearly 100 original peer-reviewed publications. He has lectured widely in topics related to pancreatitis at both national and international forums. He has also served as a consultant and advisory board participant to several pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms.
