Dr Susannah King is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 20 years' experience in clinical nutrition. She is currently Senior Dietitian for Respiratory and Cystic Fibrosis Services at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Australia, which provides care to over 300 adults with CF. She also holds an appointment as Senior Lecturer in Department of Rehabilitation, Nutrition and Sport at Latrobe University, Melbourne, Australia. Her PhD focussed on the determinants of malnutrition in adult CF; and her major research interests include CF nutrition, body composition and energy expenditure. In addition to her CF experience, Susannah has substantial experience in critical care nutrition and in the use of indirect calorimetry to target nutrition support provision. Susannah played a key role in the recently completed 'Nutrition Guidelines for Cystic Fibrosis in Australia and New Zealand', and is a council member of AuSPEN, the leading Australasian clinical nutrition society.
