Senior Research Regulatory Coordinator
April received her B.S. in Psychology from The Ohio State University in 2008 and M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati in 2013. She began her research career as a Research Assistant, focusing on cognitive perception of how we navigate moving targets, gender and personality differences in various aspects of sexual behavior, and perceptions of racial disparities. April started working at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH in 2010 for the Center for Biobehavioral Health. As a Clinical Research Coordinator Team Lead, she managed several multisite intervention-based pediatric traumatic brain injury (TBI) studies. April is currently the Lead Senior Research Regulatory Coordinator at Nationwide Children's Hospital in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine. She manages the regulatory and operational processes for pediatric and adult CF clinical trials and pulmonary investigator-initiated studies. April is a Certified Clinical Research Professional through SOCRA and a member of ACRP. She enjoys being a TDN mentor and her current interests include improving research team dynamics in order to increase team efficiency and develop best practices.
