Tanicia Jean-Pierre Daley M.D., M.P.H.

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Emory University

Dr. Daley grew up in Miami, Fl and studied Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Florida. She attended medical school at the University of Chicago and completed her Residency training at The University of Chicago Comer’s Children Hospital. Dr. Daley completed her fellowship training in pediatric endocrinology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Emory University School of Medicine. After completing her pediatric endocrinology fellowship training, she continued on at Emory University as faculty. In her clinical role, she provides care to cystic fibrosis patient with diabetes, pre-diabetes, and endocrine disorders. Dr. Daley is also a recipient of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Envision Emerging Leader Award. The goal of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to expand the availability of CF-endocrinology experts throughout the country. Dr. Daley’s research interest is looking at how nutritional and pulmonary clinical status is affected in toddlers and school age children with cystic fibrosis pre-diabetes. Her research looks at how the elimination of simple sugars may improve glucose tolerance.
