Pamela is a specialised adult CF Physiotherapist working at the London Chest Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust. She qualified in Physiotherapy at King's College London in 2001 and has dedicated most of her qualified years to working in the field; having gained experience in four Regional CF Centres. In 2014 she completed her MSc Physiotherapy with the University of Brighton. Her studies enabled further exploration in her areas of interest, specifically adherence to treatments, end of life care and the role of exercise. Also an accredited yoga teacher, Pamela evaluated the role of hatha yoga in the management of thoracic kyphosis and low back pain in adults with CF for her dissertation. She is dedicated to developing communication skills amongst physios to ensure holistic care, and together with a multi-disciplinary team of colleagues has developed a collaborative, psychology based model of working to manage non-adherence.
