Adult CF Nurse Coordinator & RC

Sarah Ellington, RN, BSN is a Clinical Nurse Coordinator and RC for the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program at National Jewish Health in Denver, Colorado. Sarah began working on the in-patient Cystic Fibrosis floor at the University of Colorado Health and Science Center in 2002, after 13 years of inpatient care she transitioned to a position with the out-patient team in 2014. Sarah received her degree in nursing from CSU, Pueblo in 2002 and has over 17 years of experience in the care of Cystic Fibrosis patients. She has enjoyed partnering with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on several occasions, including her role in the PREDICT and PATIENCE clinical trials for mycobacteria in CF, and speaker for Psychosocial Collaborative Session at NACFC 2017. With her efforts she partnered in a planning committee with Kaiser Permanente to collaborate on continuity of care for CF patients. National Jewish Health has over 500 adult patients on the active registry.
