Dr. Moon received her Ph.D degree at Ewha Womans University in Korea and she had worked at the Laboratory of Physiology at the same university doing basic science research concerning the role of efferocytosis in alveolar macrophage under inflammatory condition until 2009. She had been working in inflammatory field at UC, Davis in US from 2010 to 2011. Since she joined in Dr. Naren's lab in 2011, she has been researching on understating the role of Cystic Fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) chloride channel in fluid transport in tracheospheres and enterospheres which are isolated from human and mouse normal or cf. Currently, she has been doing pulmonary medicine as a research associate at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in US.
