Marissa Lee is currently an undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She is working towards her Bachelor of Science. Marissa began doing research in high school and attended regional and national science fairs where she developed her passion for making scientific discoveries and sharing them with the community. Throughout the years Marissa has investigated novel mutations in Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and studied drug resistance in yeast cells. Recently, Marissa decided to venture into the clinical side of research. She was excited to apply her research skills at St. Paul's Hospital (SPH) Adult CF Clinic in Vancouver, Canada. This clinic provides care to approximately 270 patients and is the second largest adult CF clinic in Canada. In the summer of 2018, Marissa received the CF Canada Summer Studentship award to continue and expand her research at the affiliated pediatric CF clinic.
