Nicole Mayer Hamblett, PhD, is a biostatistician and Associate Professor at Seattle Children's Hospital and in the Department of Pediatrics and Biostatistics at the University of Washington. Dr. Hamblett is Co-Executive Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Therapeutics Development Network Coordinating Center and Director of the Seattle Children's Research Institute Core for Biomedical Statistics. She has collaborated in the design, implementation, and analysis of multiple pediatric randomized trials which have resulted in important changes to current standard of care for the management of cystic fibrosis. In addition, she has collaborated with investigators on epidemiologic studies to identify risk factors for morbidity and mortality in the pediatric disease setting. Dr. Hamblett provides statistical training to clinical researchers and scientists through guest lectures and short courses, with applications to both the preclinical and clinical fields.
