Research Data Analyst

Christopher (CJ) Nemastil is a Data Analyst for the Pulmonary Research Core at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and has supported research efforts within the Division of Pulmonary Medicine since February, 2016. He currently oversees construction of a CF biobank, housed within Cure CF Columbus, to promote bench-to-bedside research efforts by facilitating the collection of clinically derived data and specimens. In addition, CJ has developed tracking tools and reports to help the Pulmonary Research Core monitor research activities. Before starting his research career, CJ worked as a District Manager for a global grocery store chain, was a licensed real estate agent, a certified volunteer firefighter, and spent a year studying abroad at Korea University in Seoul, South Korea. CJ holds bachelor's degrees in business, international studies, and Russian studies from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. In his spare time he designs foreign language advocacy newsletters with his wife, Iya, and enjoys teaching various animal sounds to his daughter, Maya.
