Cynthia Gile received BS in business management in 2002 from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, MI. She has been a research coordinator with the Spectrum Health Research Department since 2007. In 2012, she became a certified clinical coordinator through ACRP. Cynthia assumed the role of coordinator for the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Pediatric and Spectrum Health Adult Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Centers in 2012. This role involves coordination of research for more than 160 pediatric patients with CF and more than 100 adult patients, as well coordination of the interdisciplinary team. She has experience with budget development, proposal writing, regulatory submissions and management, as well as project management of clinical research trials. Ms. Gile, along with the CF center director, leads the quality improvement (QI) efforts at the center. In 2013, she presented an oral presentation at TDN meeting regarding her sites QI project.
