Amanda Phillips P.T., D.P.T.
With a focus on pediatric care, Amanda Phillips earned a doctoral degree in physical therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has served at Children's of Alabama since 2007 where she specializes in treating children with CF, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Having completed the CF Mentor training program, she currently works in the outpatient clinic setting funded by the CFF-funded physical therapy grant. In particular, she is Mary Massery trained, and concentrates most of her continuing education now on expanding her knowledge in this area. Outside of CF care, Amanda specializes in treating infants and toddlers with delayed gross motor development with complex neurologic and musculoskeletal impairments. She resides in Hoover, Alabama with her husband and three children.
