Dr. McElvaney is an Irish pulmonary/critical care physician with a special interest in cystic fibrosis. His research interests include neutrophil cell biology, acute and chronic airway inflammation, genetic lung disease and immunometabolism. He graduated summa cum laude from University College Dublin Medical School, and is currently undertaking a PhD with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland as part of the RSCI StAR-MD program.
