Adult Nurse Coordinator

Joanne Cullina MSN, APN, ACNS-BC, has been the Coordinator and Advanced Practice Nurse for the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program at Northwestern University since its inception. Joanne received her undergraduate degree (BSN) at Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, Indiana and her graduate degree from Loyola University of Chicago. She has a varied nursing background including serving as a nurse in both the active duty and reserve Air Force Nurse Corps, Pediatric and adult medicine encompassing acute and critical care nursing. She found her true love of nursing when she started working with the Cystic Fibrosis patient population. Joanne has been active with both the local and national chapters of the CFF, most recently as a member of the task force on the Colorectal Cancer Screening Guidelines. In addition she has presented on many topics in CF on both the national and local levels.
