Kimberly Altman MS, RD, CSP, CDN is a Senior Clinical Nutritionist/Registered Dietitian and a Board Certified Specialist in Pediatrics at the Gunnar Esiason Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at NewYork Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center in New York. Kimberly completed her Bachelor's degree in Nutrition at the University of Delaware and a combined Dietetic Internship and Master's program at Tufts University Frances Stern Nutrition Center. While working at St Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Patterson, NJ she was 'introduced' to cystic fibrosis. She continued this work at the New England Medical Center Hospital Floating Hospital for Children where she also took care of pediatric and obstetric patients. For the past nine years at New York Presbyterian, Kimberly has collaboratively worked with both adult and pediatric physicians and other interdisciplinary providers on the CF care team to maximize the benefits of nutrition for each patient's individualized care plan, transitioning to just adult CF care 2 years ago. Kimberly is an active member of the Greater New York Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and is very involved in fundraising activities.
