Danielle Sockolosky Master

Physical Therapist, Univeristy Of Colorado Hosp

Danielle Sockolosky received her Masters in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2003. Her work with cystic fibrosis (CF) began at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2003, where she provided airway clearance and exercise training for patients with CF during their acute exacerbations. In 2012, Danielle began her work at the University of Colorado Hospital (UCH), where she initiated and developed an aerobic conditioning and strength training program for inpatients with CF. Prior to her work at UCH, physical therapy had not been a part of a CF patient's care. Danielle worked along with the physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapists, to optimize the evidence based best practices and treatments for this group, and started a quality initiative project focused on exercise training during acute exacerbations. She is passionate about patient care, improving patient outcomes, and educating and teaching others about the benefits physical therapy can bring to those with CF.
