Gregory E. Conner Ph.D.
Associate Professor, Univ. of Miami School of Medicine
Dr. Conner received a B.A. in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Florida in Gainesville FL. He trained as a postdoctoral fellow with Gunter Blobel in the Laboratory for Cell Biology at The Rockefeller University. Since his training, he has been a faculty member of the Department of Cell Biology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. His research interests center on understanding the functions and regulation of mucosal-derived, respiratory host defense in normal individuals and those with cystic fibrosis.
