Dr. Nicola Ivan Lorè received his Ph.D. from the 'Università degli studi di Milano', Italy, in 2012. He has completed his doctoral training in the research area of host-pathogen interaction in Cystic Fibrosis airway diseases. His post-doctoral studies were focused on host inflammation and tissue damage control during chronic P. aeruginosa infection, working in the laboratory of Dr. Alessandra Bragonzi at the San Raffaele Scientific Institute and moving also for a short collaboration with Dr. Mathias Chamaillard at the Institut Pasteur de Lille, France. He is going to focus his interest on host genetic influence during airway infection at the San Raffaele Scientific Institute and by the collaboration with Prof Fuad Iraqi at Tel Aviv University, Israel. Last research of Dr. Nicola Lorè has been recently also supported by a Short term fellowship provided by European Respiratory Society, with the aim to conclude preliminary data on Collaborative cross mice at Prof Fuad Iraqi' lab. He is the author/co-author of more than 8 scientific articles.
