Shawn Terryah received a MPH in 2012 from the Yale School of Public Health. While at Yale, he worked extensively with a small animal vaccine model for hookworm pathogenesis. Since graduating he has continued his work with animal models both in the US and Germany. In 2013, he joined CF/Pulmonary Research & Treatment Center at the University of North Carolina where he has been testing peptide-based therapeutics to restore lung hydration in the Scnn1b-Tg mouse model.
