Stephen Lassen Ph.D.

Dr. Lassen received his PhD in clinical child psychology from the University of Kansas. He completed residency training at Harvard Medical School and a post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Lassen is currently an associate professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He conducts research in adaptation and coping with chronic illness in children and families and the impact of pediatric illness on parents. He also has a clinical and research interest in telemedicine applications in chronically ill pediatric populations. Dr. Lassen serves on the editorial board of Clinical Practice in Pediatric Psychology and reviews manuscripts for other scientific journals.
