Dabney Eidson is a 1996 graduate from the respiratory therapy program at Augusta University. She has four years of experience in adult critical care and eighteen years of experience in pediatric and neonatal critical care, including thirteen years of being a member of the Children's Hospital of Georgia's pediatric/neonatal transport team. She has experience as an adjunct instructor at AU, and also taught neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, advanced mechanical ventilation, and clinical instruction to respiratory therapy students. She was an active member when her center participated within the LLC-V and FUN-LLC2 QI projects sponsored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 2007 and 2017. Dabney was initially on both the pediatric and adult cystic fibrosis teams at AU, serving approximately 180 patients between the two centers. In 2013, she began a pediatric focus due to expansion of the CF RT Specialist role. She has past experience as a session moderator at the NACFC, as well as published two abstracts regarding airway clearance reviews and use of the high frequency chest wall oscillator simultaneously in siblings with CF. She continues to assist in research at AU with CF patients.
