Erin Seffrood received her BS in Clinical Nutrition from Texas A&M University in 1998 and her MS in Clinical Nutrition from University of Wisconsin Stout in 2002. She completed her Dietetic Internship at the University of Wisconsin Madison as well as the Pediatric Pulmonary Nutrition Traineeship. It was through the traineeship that she first gained experience with both pediatrics and cystic fibrosis and has been working in this area ever since. She has presented many times at the North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference, co-moderated Nutrition Caregiver's Sessions and Workshops, taught an Advanced Nutrition Short Course, and led roundtables. She served on the CF Education Committee for 3 years, assists the CFF in the development of written and online materials, continues to update the Appetite Stimulant and Tube Feeding sections of the CF 101 Nutrition Document, and participated in the Learning and Leadership Collaborative FUN QI with her team, focusing on improving the nutritional status in the 0-2 year population. She also servers as a mentor other dietitians in CF. She loves working with families and learning more about cystic fibrosis on a daily basis.
