Tami Miller is a Clinical Dietitian Specialist at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She has been a dietitian taking care of people with CF since 1989. Over the years, Tami has provided CF care to both adults and pediatric patients and their families, and now primarily cares for the pediatric population. From 2005-2016, Tami was also a research coordinator for the CF program and assisted with many research studies related to CF newborn screening and the EPIC Observational and Clinical Studies. Tami's professional experience has allowed her to present at NACFC on several occasions, and she presented at the II Congreso Colombiano de Fibrosis Quistica in Bogota, Colombia in 2015. She also has written a chapter on Infant Nutrition and CF in the book, Nutrition in Cystic Fibrosis, published in 2015. Tami has been a Certified Specialist in Pediatrics (CSP) from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for over 20 years. She received a Dietitian Excellence award from Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in 2009. Her current interests in CF include optimizing nutrition in the context of newborn screening, promoting the use of breast milk in infants with CF, and advocacy for the CF patients in her state.
