Physical Therapist Assistant

Julie Christiansen received her Associates degree in Physical Therapy from St. Catherine's University Minneapolis Minnesota. She has spent the last 26 years at Children's Hospitals and Clinic of Minnesota working with the inpatient population and is the primary physical therapy provider for CF. Julie has been on Children's CF team for 13 years. Her research includes 'Core Strengthening and Respiratory Exercise Program in Cystic Fibrosis'. She has been instructed by Mary Massery and has been a teaching assistant for Massery's 'If You Can't Breath You Can't Function' course.. She has presented several times at the National CF Conference. She worked hard at getting the CF Foundations grant to have a physical therapist in the clinic. She is very passionate about cystic fibrosis and the prevention of structural deficits though exercises for the pediatric population. She leads exercise education at her local CF Great Strides Walks
