Amy Mueller LCSW

Amy Mueller, LCSW is the Social Worker for the Marie and Raymond Beauregard Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at Hartford Hospital since December, 2005. She completed her MSW at Smith College in 1992 and has worked primarily in mental health settings throughout her career. Since joining the Adult CF Team, Mrs. Mueller has collaborated with patients and families to improve transition from Pediatric to Adult CF care, established and facilitates a CF Adult Advisory Board and leads several Task Groups of the Board. She participates in ongoing clinic and inpatient hospital QI projects and is responsible for involving adults with CF in these efforts. On a national level, Mrs. Mueller has been a participant in a number of CF Foundation projects, most recently as a member of the CFF/ ESCF Guidelines Committee on Mental Health and as a member of the CFF Mental Health Task Force. She has been a speaker and co-moderator at the North American CF Conference on topics such as late diagnosis of CF in adulthood, patient advisory boards and navigating the challenges of CF in adulthood.
