Kathleen Richards R.R.T.

I graduated from Vincennes University, Vincennes, Indiana in 1982 with an A.S. Degree majoring in Respiratory Therapy. I worked at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Indiana from 1982-1985, with primary responsibilities in the NICU, and again from 1987-1992 as the clinical specialist in the NICU. I worked at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana from 1985-1987. Currently, I am employed at Primary Children's Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah where I have worked since 1993. I am a coordinator for the Pulmonary Function Lab and have been a member of our CF multi-disciplinary team for 20 years. I participated in the IHC Advanced Training Program (ATP) in Health Care Delivery Improvement (Accelerated Version- Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Special Course) September 2003-January 2004. I have been a participant on many Q.I. projects at Primary Children's Hospital. I was the respiratory therapist member of the Pediatric Multi-disciplinary Benchmarking Team for the CF Foundation in 2006. I served as the Facilitator for the CF Respiratory Therapy Mentoring Program on behalf of the CF Foundation from 2008-2012.
