Gina Hong is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. She underwent her medical training at Rutgers University- New Jersey Medical School. She completed her residency and chief residency at the University of Chicago Internal Medicine residency program and pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. She is a physician at the University of Pennsylvania Adult CF center. Her research efforts have focused on the study of fungal respiratory infections in individuals with cystic fibrosis. Currently, she is the principal investigator of a prospective study investigating the impact of fungal respiratory infections in CF, funded by the CFFT.
