Dr. Stacey L. Martiniano is a pediatric pulmonologist and clinical researcher focused on improving outcomes in patients with cystic fibrosis, specifically those with nontuberculous mycobacterial infection. She received her BS and MD at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY in 2001 and 2006, respectively. She completed Pediatric Residency training at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL in 2009 followed by Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2013. Additionally, Dr. Martiniano completed a Masters of Science in Clinical Science degree at the University of Colorado Denver, Anschutz Medical Campus in 2016. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She has active funding provided by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to study protocols to help guide the diagnosis and treatment of nontuberculous mycobacterial infection in patients with cystic fibrosis. Additionally, she is studying the pharmacokinetics (or drug absorption) of oral antibiotics used to treat nontuberculous mycobacteria in patients with cystic fibrosis.
