Clifford M. Takemoto M.D.

Cliff Takemoto M.D. is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in the Division of Pediatric Hematology. He received his M.D. degree from the University of California at Irvine and completed residency training in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. Dr. Takemoto then went on to pursue fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the Boston Children's Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. After training, he stayed there as an instructor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, and then joined the faculty at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 1999.Dr. Takemoto is currently the Medical Director of the Pediatric Anticoagulation Management Services at Johns Hopkins and is also the Associate Director of the Johns Hopkins Hemophilia Treatment Center. His interests are in bleeding and thrombotic disorders in children.
