Monika Kowalczyk Lammi M.D.

Dr. Kowalczyk received her medical degree in 2006 from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, La. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. In 2012 she began to work as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in Section of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Tulane University School of Medicine. She is actively involved in the training of medical students, residents and fellows as an Associate Fellowship Program Director and Gastroenterology Clerkship Director. Her clinical and research interests include motility and functional GI with special emphasis on gastrointestinal manifestations of cystic fibrosis. In May of 2014 she received the DIGEST award from Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and through this support established a cystic fibrosis gastrointestinal clinic in conjunction with Tulane's CF Center. Most recently she has been involved in development of Task Force Recommendation on the Management of Constipation in Children and Adults with Cystic Fibrosis¬Ě.
