Ruth Bernstein M.S.

Ruth Bernstein is a current Ph.D. student at the University of Miami, Department of Psychology, studying under Alexandra L. Quittner, Ph.D. She earned her Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling and Psychology in 2014 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she studied under Eileen J. Burker, Ph.D. She is currently involved in research projects examining quality of life, barriers to adherence, and depression and anxiety screening of individuals with cystic fibrosis. Her clinical experience includes working with children with mental health concerns at the Psychological Services Center at the University of Miami and, formerly, performing pre-transplant psychological evaluations with the Heart and Lung Transplant teams at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Memorial Hospital.
